  We found Ben Meyers to be inappropriate (he felt the need to go off on multiple Democrat bashing tangents, regardless of the fact that we said that we were Democrats and weren't interested in what he had to say, while we were grieving the sudden loss of our father and just trying to finalize arrangements to bring his remains back downstate). We didn't have a lot of research time and so just went with Meyers based on the hospital's recommendation, albeit the woman who recommended the place had only ever dealt with the son. The father spent a whole lot of time boasting about how well he knew how to do things, and yet he couldn't facilitate anything within our timeframe and when we had drive back up two days later to retrieve the remains, he didn't even have the death certificates that had been prepared signed and ready for pickup at the hospital the day before. He was still spouting some issue with Hillary Clinton as we were driving away. When I called the son afterward to advise him about what we had been through with the father, he both defended his father's right to discuss such things and told me that I should have just gone with another funeral home. No one should have to experience this--don't use them!

  Completely unprofessional and rude .. I would NEVER use their services due to their lack of customer service and care. Rated 1 star because Google wouldnt let me leave the review without setting a rating.

  Loved it here they treated me and my family verry well and there prices are reasonable. It's also a very lovely place.
